Send a message to 50 sites at once

Now, what time do any of us have to update posts on so many social networking sites? Spending so much time on Twitter is enough time. There is a tool that I use, called Ping.fm. I make a post, a status-update, or a micro-blog, and click send, and the post goes to multiple websites at once. With Ping.fm, 50 sites can be updated with your post. More sites are on the way, now that Seesmic has acquired Ping.fm. There will be 100 new API apps on the way, and more websites added to the list of where we can post our messages.

I have been with Ping.fm for a long time now, and that is one of my favorite websites. I can updates Twitter, Facebook, Myspace, and all the other sites listed, from my laptop, or from my cell phone as a text message. I really like being able to post to many sites with one text message. I can be anywhere and do that, when the thought comes to me. Oh, and it is quick.

Anybody else using Ping.fm? This is a fabulous social media tool. It will be even better with the blending of Ping.fm with Seesmic. This will be a new beginning of greater things down the road for Ping.fm. Ning.com was one of the recent additions to the social networking family on Ping.fm.

If you are an Internet affiliate, in particular, you want to use Ping.fm to free up some of your time, so you can do what I am doing now, blogging. Just be consistent, and use Ping.fm daily, throughout the day, getting your information out there to the social networking sites. Get your promotions, your referral links, your ideas out online so people can read them, and hopefully, sign up through your affiliate referral links.

Let me know what other applications you find productive to Internet affiliates.

Successful Systems in Affiliate Marketing

Affiliate marketing is a big name, and includes 100s, or thousands of individual affiliate operations taking place on the Internet. The Internet is a big basket filled with affiliate programs, affiliate opportunities, affiliate system, affiliate business models. The progress, and experimentation goes on. The success in any affiliate operation is in systematization. Get a system in order to be successful. A system with its redundancy, repetition, duplication, and order, is required for the achievement of success in affiliate marketing.

The learning curve is continuous. I know very successfull Internet affiliates who continue to learn new ways of doing business, attracting people to there promotions, and setting up systems.

I feel inclined to provide my readers with my daily affiliate tasks, as a means of helping them, helping all, succeed online as Internet affiliates. The tasks may not fit for you, but I feel comfortable with them. You can think of your own tasks, or modify what I do. Much of online success requires experimentation. It is good to experiment on the Internet. All the successful ones have done that.

First: Create a blog post every day, and personalize it to make it an extension of yourself, your thought processes, your passion. Don’t just write facts, and be objective. Blogging has always been about individual reflections. So, reflect on what you are promoting, and share it with a mix of subjectivity, and objectivity. That is my blogging style.

Second: Take some time, to peruse others’ blog posts, and comment on them. Let them know your thoughts, and you may want to include your website, or blog. You will know what is appropriate. You are not selling, you are creating a network.

Third: Promote your writings, whether you blog posts, or website articles, or whether you wrote an article for an online magazine. Promote your work. You do want others to notice, don’t you? Where can you promote. You can start by pinging other sites. Go go Pingomatic after you finish a blog post, and enter your URL, blog name, and check the boxes besides the sites in which you want the system to notify. These sites can bring traffic to your site. You are not creating traffic, you are attracting traffic. Explore all the Feedburner has to offer, and be sure to put your site URL, and title in the Feedburner feeds page. WordPress will automatically notify sites after you complete each post. That is one reason why people love WordPress. Just don’t be spammy. Just promote your work.

You also want to go into social media, and let folks know of your new blog or website additions. I always make a blog update post on Twitter, using an attractive sentence or phrase to attract people to my new blog post. I also include the Internet address to the blog post, or blog website. I also use Ping.fm, to notify more than 20 popular webites about my new blog posts. I have accounts on all those sites, but with one message, and one click to send, all the sites are notified, and anyone interested can visit my blog.

Fourth: I go on my traffic exchangers, to do some surfing, earn points, credit, and and add credits to my publicized sites. I don’t have to do this everyday, since surfing does take time, but I have a system. I use Pageswirl, which has an enormous list of the popular, and useful, traffic exchangers. I already opened free accounts with them. Next, all I need to do is set the PageSwirl alarm clock to the time I want to be surfing, and I go to work, surfing on three or four exchangers during that time. Surfing can be boring, so what I like to do, is listen to affiliate training videos, podcasts, and learn something new, while I am surfing. I also use Thumbvu, Submit-jet, Vinefire, and Linkreferral. Linkreferral is like a search engine, and not really one of the traffic exchangers. You review others’ websites, and fill out a brief survey about the quality of the site, and content. You then have to option of writing a comment about the site. This is a kind of networking, too.

These are my daily affiliate marketing tasks. It takes time, yes, because I do other things too, to grow my business.

What I want to get into is video marketing. At this time, I have not done that. Everyone it seems, likes to go to Youtube and many affiliate marketers are taking advantage of that. It is easy to make and upload a video. I just have not done it yet.

I hope this helps you.

Save Precious Time With Scheduling Your Tweets

We affiliate marketers know how important Twitter is, and the fact that it may if it has not already, become more popular than Facebook. I would not be surprised. Twitter is much easier to use than Facebook, and less cumbered and cluttered. We can get posts out every hour, or throughout the day on Twitter, but creating and posting takes time. Why be on Twitter 24 hours a day to post, when there is technology to do the posting for you? That technology is called, Socialoomph. An affiliate marketer is always looking for a better tool to make his job easier. This is one such tool.

I use Socialoomph regularly for both my Twitter and Facebook updates, and talking about saving time. Yeah! I sit down, create many posts that I want to send to my various Twitter accounts. Cool! Really. I can either indicate the hour and minute I want to post to be sent to Twitter, or I can let the system distribute them evenly throughout the 24 hour period and beyond. Oh, and I can create, save as draft, and schedule, or reschedule as many tweets or Facebook posts as I want (there are also other social sites that on Socialoomph as well). I can keep the posts and edit them to send then out again later, in another batch of posts. Before I started this blog, I just finished creating a batch of 50 Twitter posts, that will go out in a couple days. Using mostly prior templates of posts, I simply reworded them. I do keep and reword my posts to make it easier on myself. Twitter does not like, Socialoomph does not like, and I don’t like, repeat posts. That is spam. However, we all have things we want to say over and over. We can say them, but in different ways, using different words. No problem there. Just get the word out, the tweets out, and let it flow to receptive readers. Not only do I use Socialoomph for my affiliate marketing business, to promote my people search engine, Global Domains International, and other affiliate programs, I use it to schedule posts to my personal interest Twitter account. By the way, posting to Twitter is free, but to set up scheduling and have the system post to other sites like Facebook, there is a fee. You do have to upgrade for that.

Another useful tool on Socialoomph is the keyword tracking tool. You can receive email digest of tweets having your keywords in them, including your own Twitter name, replies to you, @yourname.

Not only can you have the Socialoomph system follow those who decide to follow you, but you can have Socialoomph unfollow those who do not wish to follow you any longer. This is a real saver of precious time. Having so many followers, and going through each one to see who is no longer active or following me, is not fun, for this busy affiliate marketer. This system automates the chore. I can go on and do other things, like blog about why I like Twitter so much. Well, I do. Really. More than any other social media website.

The Vet New Followings tool allows you to review each new follower that has been automatically added. There is a 72 hour window allowing for you to decide whether you really want to follow that individual or not. I have not used this as much as the other tools, but it is available and practical.

Remember, Twitter is a growing global community. When you are asleep, others elsewhere in the world are awake, and pondering the tweets they view. Create, schedule, and have the system post those tweets to them, and you get a good nights sleep.

What Makes You Money Online

For some people, a people search finder makes them money online. Why? With ACME People Search, there are 9 potential sources of earning income. That should speak well for someone wanting to get an online career, part-time, or even full-time, as I am in the process of doing.

What product do you think more and more people want? I think it is a people search engine. I feel that way now, more than ever before after reading that 30% of all online searches are on people. People search one another for many reasons. Can you think of some of those reasons? I can.

What makes ACME People Search stand out is that it is not just one income stream. Income can be earned from advanced searches on the people search engine, the same engine, you and I can have, and one in which I do have at this time. These commission sources are Clickbank, HD Publishing, MyLife, Commission Junction, and even Google Adsense. All of these sources of income also have other affiliate opportunities in which beyond the search engine, we can participate in for even more income, or more potential income.

Then, there is the income potential of hosting the people search engine, using Global Domains International, Hostgator, and GVO. Cool, hug? This is another discussion all by itself.

There is also the income from the people search engine referral links which can be placed in advertisements, blogs, traffic exchangers, classifieds, social media sites and elsewhere. There are so many possibilities to get the word out to those looking for a better affiliate program, a program that offers nine in one. Nine income streams in one system, one people finder.

Three Parts to Succes

Have you had much opportunity to use a people search engine, other than looking up someone in Google, MSN, or Yahoo?

With your own ACME People Search engine, you can take advantage of free, and advanced people search results. It is a powerful people finder, and an enormous database, that has to be maintained, and updated as people information constantly changes. I have used the ACME People Search engine to locate high school buddies of the past, army buddies, and school teacher, prior employers and colleagues. The results were exceptionally good, and in fact, I was able to find someone I had really wanted to find a long time ago, when we were colleagues in Connecticut. My army and high buddy Mark, was found and I even made contact with him. It seems as if the people search engine is a people finder, but of course, it is so much more. I have not used it to the fullest in locating where people I know are in the online social media sites, and I have not run background checks on anyone yet.

That is a brief testimony of the usefulness of the ACME People Search engine. How about the income potential? There has to be an income greatness with this search engine tool, since income comes from 9 sources, with even more income from some of those 9 sources that have areas unrelated to the people search engine.

To grasp the greatness of this tool, it is important to look at the three parts of the income potential of the program.

Part 1 is the basic “affiliatize” part, or step towards a complete three step potential money cow. To “affiliatize” with the people search engine, you have to set up an account with Clickbank, HD Publishing, and MyLife. Commission Junction has just been added. There is also Google Adsense. Income can be earned from all of these sources since they are all related to the ACME People Search engine machine. How? The people search will reveal free results like ages, dates of birth, immediate relatives, family members, city location, state location, and whether a name matches a phone number, or email address, or whether an email address or phone matches a name. For advance searches, like specific street addresses, background check, and more, there is a required payment for the results. That is how commissions are earned. Clickbank provides commissions for the pay services from advanced searches at the phone, email, background check, and social security number check links on the search engine platform. Refer to my search engine to get an idea of what I am talking about.

In depth background checks are handled through HD Publishing, for affiliate commisions. After clicking on the email link, income can be earned from Commission Junction, from the user doing a search for someone’s presence or identity in online social media, like Facebook, MySpace, and more. I like the email search the most, because so much more can be revealed about somebody. Just the email search alone can reveal someone’s address, social networks, and phone information. After you have the affiliate IDs for for Clickbank, HD Publishing, MyLife, Commission Junction, even Google Adsense if you wish, you will need to put these ID’s in their proper places on the Add/Edit IDs page in your people search engine back office. You can always edit this information later, if necessary. You can earn commissions at the display rate for your search engine of 65%. If you complete all three steps for full income potential, the display rate is set to 100%. The display rate is the percentage rate in which your search engine is seen by viewers on the Internet.

The next step, or part in preparing your people finder for full income potential, is to get a domain name. This is the “monetize” step, or part. Your search engine has to be hosted, and have a domain name so that it is put out on the Internet as an address for people to visit, and use. You get your domain name from Global Domains International, and after the free seven day trial, you only have to pay $10 a month for the domain name, hosting package, and 10 email addresses for the domain name. You also get an incredible income opportunity as well, which your people search vehicle will help you grow. You are under no obligation pursue the people search income maker, or hosting with Global Domains International. If you decide to continue, however, the people search engine will help grow any business associated connected to the search engine, as just discusses. That is a good thing! Other than paying the $10 a month for hosting and all that is offered with Global Domains International, there is no other payment, or fee required in having your own people search engine and in earning income from it. It costs nothing to use the people search engine to make commissions from the first part of the money making system, the “affiliatize” part, as well as from the “monetize” part.

First, we see that you affiliatize with the affiliate sources so that income can be earned on advanced people search results. Second, you get hosting and domain set up for your search engine, through Global Domains International. There is income from that company with and without the people search engine. The ACME People Search engine makes it easier to earn, and can literally cultivate the leads for your domain name and hosting business with Global Domains International. However, there is another step, not required but profitable. That is the “advertise” step.

At step three, your search engine is set to 100% display rate from viewers, making your search engine a better candidate for greater earnings. You will have access to several referral links for the search engine, one link which was not available to you prior to step three. Now, you can advertise the referral links and earn referral fees from the Acme Search Engine itself, beyond what commissions may be earned from the affiliate programs on the search engine search field and search links. Also, beyond what bonus, and residual commissions are being earned from Global Domains International.

There is a full, powerful system of energy in this search engine.

Metaphores for a Domain Name

Just like a map is needed to find how to get to the destination on a vacation, or business trip, a domain name is an online road map. The domain name is what takes us to where we need, or want to go online. A domain name is an internet address.

Without a domain name, nobody will know how to locate Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, Orcut, Google, or any other website. A domain name is the lighthouse with a beaming light on top, leading the passing by ships to their proper places. That light is a welcome to those stranded in the ongoing, confusing search for the right port of entry.

A domain name can be one word, or a group of words all joined together, since no spaces are allowed in domain names. Those words can express a personality, a location, a name, an idea, a hobby, a recreational pursuit, a company name, a service, a product. A domain name, which is an internet address, can express or imply any of these elements. People can create and use any kind of domain name they want providing that it is not taken by someone else. It is one light lighting the way to one location online. The brighter the light, the more apt people are to see it and want to visit the location.

Now here are some other metaphors for a domain name.

A domain name is a door to a home. The door can be dirty, needing a coat of paint, unattractive. The home looks abandoned, or if not, whoever resides in it, has not maintained the structure, and has not done any landscaping, or anything to beautify the property. For obvious reasons, nobody wants to make a visit. On the other hand, the door could have a fresh coat of paint, be attractive, and connected to a well kept, beautiful home, with interesting landscaping, bright, cheery flowers lining the walkway to the entrance, a waterfall and gold fish pond in front. This home invites visitors.

A domain name is that cup of coffee made in the office. It was made well. Just the right amount of coffee, sugar, and cream. Just made a few minutes ago. A domain name can be an old cup of coffee, too strong, or too weak. Nobody wants to drink it. They go for the fresh cup of coffee. A domain name can attract or distract. So much is expressed in the wording or appearance of a domain name.

Asking a Question as an Affiliate Marketing Tool

So often, people, when marketing their products, or ideas online, always tell how the product is wonderful, what it does, and why people should buy it. However, there is one strategy that is neglected. We all want people to like what we like, or what we have to offer or sell, it seems. That is economics, I suppose. We have grown up as a society, as a world, almost knowing in advanced how something for sell, or some program will be presented. We know the tone and talk of business women/men, and what a sales conversation is all about. Someone calls me on the phone, or emails me, and says the cool things in the beginning of the conversation, and then, bingo, the subject of paying for a product or service come into the communication. We often get turned off.

What do people want in a conversation? They want sincerity. Is there a feeling of sincerity, caring, brotherliness, warmth. That is easy to determine. When I was employed in the Florida Department of Children and Families, Accenture, and in education, I always practiced empathy, empathizing with others, listening to what they had to say, and acknowledging that their issues, or interests are real and valid. I got that trait from mom and dad. Dad was the most compassionate man I ever met.Dad was an excellent business man, as he empathized so carefully with everyone in his marketing work.

People do not want to be sold anything. I know I don’t. We don’t want to listen to someone trying to convince us that we should do this, subscribe to something, or buy a program, or a product. We want sincerity, solutions, and results.

A good marketing strategy to follow in a conversation, and one which shows that we are interested in dialog, is to ask a question. Asking a question is a powerful tool of exchange, in marketing a product or in conversation in general. It encourages a response, and people are more inclined to respond to the question given. Why? Because of validity. The one answering the question wants to use the question as an opportunity to shine forth, to speak from desire. People desire to speak, present, shine, express, share. It is who we are. Asking a question allows others to come to service, with an attitude of being of service.

In our marketing tasks, online or offline, ask questions. Twitter is a good place to ask questions. Find out what people want, need, and care for. The questions can actually lead people to your products and promotions. Asking a question is not selling. Asking a question is an ancient form of communication, which carries with itself so much power of interaction. The question demands an answer, or it would not be a question. There are always people that feel they must answer the question. We are people who dialog with one another. Any conversation includes questions.

Go out and converse with questions, practice empathy in your dialogs, and you will be seen as someone who is sincere.
